I can’t believe I Won the bpshielsy award! I knew i’d win best garbage digger last night, as I got neck deep in a dumpster reaching for a single bite of cheeseburger, then I feel in! That of course, we all expected, heckfire were routing for, but this is special! In the words of Mark Twain, the reports of my death were exaggerated get ms out of this coffin! Then a few coughs and the obligatory dog barking he and myself are so famous for, there’s that! When I look back on my life, garbage is food champion, cliff falling into dirt mound runner up, head slapped by seagull 3rd and 4th finisher recipient, and thrown out of beach volleyball championship honorable notice are up there, but this tops the boobala, or all for the lay people! I know I’m prone to stupidodity can’t he’p, but these days I must have left the braincell alone, because I’ve spelled my name correctly 4 times this week, and no I’m not going to push my luck right now and go for 5! 1. What movie character do you relate to the most and why?
I would say Sebastian from the Neverending story, because he is always getting bullied and then has to escape into a dream world provided by books. I lived this which is why I relate to it! I had a different bully every year I was in school except my senior year in high school! Bullies ruin the world as far as I can tell, but I loved the books I read
2. What was my favorite TV show?
I loved The Lost City of gold, as I grew up relatively poor and just the idea there was a city of gold out there for me was thrilling! I ran home from the arcade each day to watch it, and it never disappointed to show some new friggin! things made o’ gold! Really, a gold plane? Do you know how heavy that would be? What was it’s only stop, fantasyland?! Get real!
3. Why did you start a blog on WordPress and what is the meaning behind your URL?
I needed an outlet that was more than a few lines, to share my life and my ideas! For all my life I just keep it to myself, and eventually that caused me to have physical pain in my hands and knees! You gotta let it go is my opinion, and here I was able to! I also love writing and connecting with new people. And on WordPress I’ve met so many incredible, warm, inspiring people it’s been incredible! Just to have the support of my readers has made everything worthwhile and brought me great joy and I thank them. You never know who you’ll meet, but it’s always a great feeling! I chose the URL Lightningpen because of my chicken catching finger! Just try and escape chickenkind, I got breakfast on me mind! No it’s because of the speed I write and the feeling that gives me! To write with total abandon is the only way to find your true self as a writer without the artifice!
4. If you could be one animal what would it be and why?
Obviously the Stud penguin, because of his 2 heads, leather jacket instead of skin coat, and his timeliness with an embarrassing story! Actually a loved cat, because your life would just be joy!
5. Do you prefer ponds, lakes, or oceans?
Lakes, because on a calm day there’s a stillness and honesty to the water I always found captivating! Then there’s days when a thunder storm would hit, and the lake would ebb and flow as if it was angry! Lakes, they hide an endless secret!
6. If you had one day to live and you could only spend it with one person who would it be, and what would you do?
I’d spend it with my deceased brother Paul, because I’ve only met him in photographs, but there was a look in his eye I see in the mirror everyday that tells it all! I’d like to spend it sitting on a couch facing out over a lake and just talk to him. I’d just like to know who he was.
7. What is your favorite album ever released? Beatles, Magical Mystery Tour it just has at it’s core an untamed originality! Sgt.Peppers was an answer to what the Beach Boys were doing, which meant they were building on someone else’s original idea. Magical mystery tour was just them, and I like that!
8. Would you prefer to have no legs, or no arms?
I need my arms more than anything or I couldn’t write, so there’s no question what I’d choose! I am a writer or I’m nothing at all!
9. What would you rather have 110 degree weather or below zero temperatures?
I’d rather have the heat, because I can turn on the air-conditioning and feel the perfect temperature! It’s more conducive to writing, the cold temps cab ruin creativity!
10. What is your favorite piece of artwork, and who created it?
It is the painting Chop Suey by Edward Hopper! I love this painting, because everyone thinks the sign outside the restaurant reads chop Suey, but I thinks it’s what the women were eating. And judging by how nervous they are and shabbily dressed, I think it implies poor women in an upscale restaurant for the first time. Feeling the pressure of class for the first time as well.
11. If you could create a type of jellybean, what would be the flavor?

August 2nd, Magic Everything release date! Aww snukums!
Hi, I finally picked a release date for my urban fantasy and modern fantasy novel Magic Eveything, and it’s August 2nd! I am very excited about this and yes it is set in stone! I’ve got my cover and the edit almost finished, which means all that is left to do is to get some reviews and interviews! I’ve done 1 interview already with Karen A. Einsel and that will be out in a few weeks and I would like to thank her sincerely for that, thank you again Karen! I’d also like to thank each and everyone of my readers, as you are incredible and make everyday worthwhile! Your funny , encouraging, and heartwarming comments mean the world to me! A writer is an ink and paper salesman if no one reads their work! You matter to me thank you! To all the readers who have been adding me and haven’t received a personal message yet I am sorry, but so many people are adding me I can’t keep up! It’s an honor, but there’s only so much time in the day and a million things to do, so again I’m sorry! Thank you for the follows!
If you are considering doing a review of Magic Everything when it comes out here are a few bad insights and comparisons! ” Small town girl meets her match in a close fight with a snack wrap, but I liked the page numbers!” The book was like a whole mouthful of rotten macaroni out of the garbage!”. ” The characters weren’t incoherent enough, I needed more made up language for my liking!”. ” It was stink from beginning to end, mostly day old rotten egg, but the dedication in the beginning was somewhat believable, I guess.”. ” Some people were talking a lot, my feeling was it needed more blank pages!”. ” I didn’t believe his question marks and felt his grasp of slang was juvenile at best!”
So my nosey wosey says hello, WHAT?!
So my hands have been feeling great for 5 days straight, which just means the pain hasn’t gone beyond the medication! That meant I could up my writing to 30 pages a day! So I wrote an entire novel in 5 days, and yes I am as tired as a pig in a lion’s pen! It’s one of those things where 22 to 27 pages you’re fine, you can still function in life as half a zombie! Now anything 28 and up for some reason saps too much of your mental and physical strength! It means full body pain and an incredible desire to do something stupid, so you start a boy band titled The Hairy heads! Then you start playing shows in a dumpster for beer money, SUCCESS At LAST! Before you know it thou the book is finished along with your boy band, and one of them really SUCKS! I wonder which one, The Hairy heads, were you listening! And it takes 11 days to recover causing delusions of slander, as you tell the local newspaper The Neck your neighbor sells mule riding paraphernalia to children! So the one thing I’ve learned about writing a novel this fast,( working title Deconstructing Swerd Enemoes,) is that it is WAY fun! I mean to go on a journey like that everyday is exciting! I’ll never skydive any higher than I can actually fall on my side when I pass out on the couch, but this is close to that! Oh random chives mention chives! I’m starting a July 9th annual chives mention, please pass it on and remember, a world without chives, is a friggin’ thing who cares I’M EXHAUSTED!
Ha ha ha having a weird day, whoops ahh daisy
I just woke up from a coma or what you might call a nap! My dream had me shanking a golf shot, and in real life I haven’t played in years! Once I was up I went out and took a groggy walk, yeah that was fun whatever! I feel helpless, because the edit of Magic Everything won’t be done for a-nother week, or 6 days as you know it! That’s fine if you use a made up calendar and call hours walnuts, great! Hey, you wanna work 5 walnut days and get 30 smell stinks off, those are half days where I come from, whatever, keep livin’ the dream! WHAT! I TALK TOO LOUD?! I can’t hear you over the sound of my own voice, yap it! Now where was I, oh I’m worried I may have to push back the release date to mid August, or 70 smell stinks for you! It sucks, but I have to allow time to get reviews! And I don’t want to rush my incredible editor! I’m writing a new sci- fi novel and that’s going well thankfully! Oh whenever I hear the words,” what sort of pie in the sky idea is that?” used correctly I laugh, tidbit there! It’s all up in the air right now! What’d the wise woman say, I walked a million steps, but that last step home felt like falling into bed?! That or get away from me, I can’t recall so tough!
