Just a pedal to lean on

July 21, 2012 · lightningpen

The whole flower I give you, to be held if your grasp is weary
Take a pedal to lean on if the wood will not hold
Smile back at yourself
Not a day for sturdy boards, no they’re shaking now
Your hands feel sweaty, but it isn’t warm
A smile waits to happen in us all, longer now, much longer
Hands filled with dreams made of smoke
Take a pedal to lean on now if it’s all you’ve got
An easy word can’t be shared
Glowing red hot words instead
Not a pedal to stand on just a second to regret
Water reaches outward
But there is no rain
Just a pedal to ride on
’til you’re safe again

Wow, I can imagine this being sung. :D And I’ve nominated you for the One Lovely Blog Award: http://inksylph.wordpress.com/2012/07/21/one-lovely-blog-award/ Lol, it’s sudden but good luck!

Hi, thank you so much for this great honor! I can see how it could be sung, because I think the raw emotion would come thru! If the small one knows the tall ones secrets, they’re aging into each other blissfully! Have a great day! Again thank you!

Hi, thank you for that! If you saw everything the wind has seen, you’d know everyone and far between! Have a splendid day of imagination!
